Red Light Review

We shot this interesting event on Mardi Gras at Neurolux. These performing artists were very creative and talented. I'd never been to a show like this--very out of the ordinary!

I had to laugh...these 3 were so wiggly I was actually sweating during this shoot to make it happen, then suddenly they all lined themselves up in this perfectly angelic pose and held it for a number of frames!

Today

Trying to get back into updating this blog regularly...Today was a wash. We had to cancel sessions because of the rain--January in Boise is frustrating; Here are a couple of pages from an album I'm working on. This "fiesta" themed wedding at Redfish Lake was so colorful!

New Year's Resolution: VALENTINE'S DAY 2010 is going to be special because I'm going to plan ahead!

I am notorious for failing to plan ahead to make holidays special. My family knows their gifts on Christmas day were probably purchased the night before at some frantic, shopper infested, picked over store--or maybe the mini mart. Kids always love corndogs, right? My 2010 resolution: I want to add a few more small traditions each year (NOT Christmas Eve shopping) so that eventually we've got handfuls of simple but memorable events surrounding each of the holidays.
Some ideas for Valentine's Day: Deliver decorated cookies to neighbors or take to the office--spread some love! Help your kids create an all-red or pink ensemble to wear from their closets and drawers or maybe this is the day to wear a that short red sparkly dress to work dressed down with leggings and a jean jacket! Use lipstick to write messages on the bathroom mirror to your loved ones on Valentine's Day.
